I want to use "Ribbon" (http://fluent.codeplex.com/) in place of traditional menu bar in SoapBox Core, but it seems doesn't work.

Is this possible to use "Ribbon" in SoapBox Core?

The problem with ribbon controls is that Microsoft has patented it so it's not compatible with GPL application.

Also, the project you mentioned on CodePlex is released under the Ms-PL which is not GPL compatible. Sorry!
